An Akron man wanted on weapons and drug charges was arrested Wednesday night in Barberton.

Leo Moore III, 38, was listed recently on the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force’s “Dangerous Dozen” fugitive list. He had been sought on arrest warrants from Akron police and Summit County sheriff’s deputies since at least April.

He was spotted Wednesday night by task force officers, who along with Barberton police, followed Moore to a parking lot in the 40 block of Fifth Street Southeast. He was arrested without incident.

Police say they recovered about one gram of suspected heroin from Moore during his arrest. He is being held in the Summit County Jail.
