An Akron man was sentenced to life in prison with a chance of parole after 23 years for his involvement in the aggravated robbery and murder of a former Cuyahoga Falls resident, according to Falls News Press.


Chad Allen Stephens, 22, was found guilty of one count of complicity to commit murder and two counts of complicity to commit aggravated robbery by a Summit County Common Pleas Court jury on May 14.


Stephens was initially arrested and charged in August in the connection of the death of Kim Slayko II. Slayko, an U.S. Army veteran who had served in Afghanistan, was a Ravenna native.
