MEDINA: This season of the Amazing Race will feature a local connection.

One of the competitors on the television show is 1996 Medina High School graduate Michael Rado, the Medina Gazette reports.

“Amazing Race is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done,” Rado, who now lives in Pittsburgh, told the newspaper. “I’d recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone with any sense of adventure. It brought a lot of personal enrichment.”

The show’s new season starts at 10 p.m. Thursday.
