An Akron man who authorities say fled a fatal stabbing early Sunday on a bicycle has been arrested.

Rudolph Valentino Ammons III, 29, of South Arlington Street, was arrested at about 8:30 a.m. today in the 700 block of East Buchtel Avenue.

Police say Anthony Hargrove, 30, was found on a bench outside of Summa Akron City Hospital at about 1 a.m. He was taken inside and pronounced dead, police Lt. Rick Edwards said.

An autopsy shows Hargrove died from a stab wound to the torso.

Police released a video Tuesday of a suspect who fled the area on a bicycle after the stabbing. A witness told police that two men were fighting near the parking lot of a CVS drugstore located across the street from the hospital.

Ammons has been charged with aggravated murder and felonious assault.
