COVENTRY TWP.: Authorities are asking for help in determining who fired gunshots into a Swartz Road residence at 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Four gunshots went into the home through a picture window and struck the kitchen area.

There were five adults home at the time, but no one was injured. The bullets flew past one of the people, Summit County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Bill Holland.

“Our theory at this point is that the shots were fired from a vehicle,” he said.

Authorities found no shell casings at the scene. They also are not sure if the house was targeted or it was a random shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s detective bureau at 330-926-5616.
