The Cuyahoga Falls Bicentennial Committee is raising funds by selling commemorative items.

Cookbooks, wine glasses, t-shirts, hats, candles and bicentennial flags can be purchased at Taylor Library, Quirk Cultural Center, the city's utility building department and Mayor Don Robart's office.

Profits from the sale will help fund the August two-week bicentennial celebration.

In addition, a bicentennial wine is for sale at Sarah's Vineyard, 1204 West Steels Corners Road, and a special bicentennial beer, created by Thirsty Dog Brewery, will soon go on sale at Acme.
