Former President Bill Clinton will visit Akron Thursday to stump for President Barack Obama.

Clinton also will hold rallies in Toledo and Chillicothe, the Obama campaign said.

More details on the events are expected to be released later Wednesday.

Clintonís Akron stop will come a day after Obama canceled an event planned for the University of Akronís James A. Rhodes Arena. That rally was supposed to be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Obama canceled the Akron visit and a Cincinnati event to remain in Washington, D.C., to monitor the recovery from Hurricane Sandy.
