An Akron woman was arrested Monday after Summit County sheriff’s deputies said they found three children left unattended in her car.

Marie Berger, 25, is charged with three counts of child endangering. She was booked into the Summit County Jail.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were dispatched to the Akron Institute parking lot on South Arlington Road about 9 a.m. Monday when a witness called and reported hearing a child crying inside a vehicle. Responding deputies found three children inside the car.

No injuries were reported.
