WADSWORTH: The city has scheduled lawn watering for June through September.
To preserve the water supply, the city has limited the amount of water each resident uses to prevent a mandatory sprinkling ban. Watering days have increased from two to three this year, said John Easton, director of public service, who established the schedule.
Watering days for even-numbered houses will be Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. For odd-numbered houses, watering days are Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. No watering is permitted on Fridays.
Any resident who does not follow the schedule is subject to having service shut off and would be required to pay a re-establishment service fee of $40 during working hours and $125 during nonworking hours.
