CLEVELAND: A county medical examiner has identified a woman killed in Cleveland after a car in which she was a passenger crashed into a convenience store.
The Plain Dealer newspaper reports the woman was 27-year-old Amandia Davis of Toledo.
Davis died at MetroHealth Medical Center after a car driven by a 34-year-old Warrensville Heights man ran into a Family Dollar store late Saturday. The Cuyahoga Medical Examiner said four others injured in the crash were being treated.
The driver has been charged with aggravated vehicular homicide in the crash. Police suspect alcohol was involved.
The vehicle struck the store at 8003 Broadway around 11 p.m. Saturday. No one was inside at the time and employees said the store opened for normal business Sunday.
