The Copley Police Department, in association with the Copley-Fairlawn Kiwanis Club and the Copley Outreach Center, is now accepting applications and donations for its annual “Share A Christmas Program”.

The department collects new, unwrapped toys and gifts and also accepts monetary donations to benefit needy families in the area. Additional items such as food baskets, coats, hats and gloves are also given to the families.

Gifts will be accepted at the Copley Police Department, 1280 Sunset Drive, through Dec. 18 and cash donations can be mailed to the department with checks made payable to Copley Police Department Share A Christmas.

Last year the program provided for more than 200 children who may not have received any gifts on Christmas morning.

Application forms for families are due by Dec. 9 and proof of residency is necessary.
