COPLEY TWP.: Voters on Nov. 6 will be asked to approve a 2-mill, three-year levy to fund the Copley Police Department.

Township Fiscal Officer Janice L. Marshall said if passed, the replacement levy would generate an estimated $954,935 a year. A homeowner with a $100,000 home would pay $61.25 a year, the same amount as the previous three-year levy.

The department's current roster includes 23 full-time and six part-time patrol officers, and an administrative assistant. The department also shares "support of a juvenile youth officer with Bath Township," Marshall said via e-mail.
