COVENTRY TWP.: A 48-year-old Coventry Township man has been charged with felonious assault after police said he stabbed a relative in the neck and shoulder with a knife.
The victim, 33, was admitted to Summa Akron City Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, according to a report from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.
Steven Turner stabbed his son-in-law during an altercation Saturday at a residence on Hummel Street in Coventry Township, authorities said.
Deputies was booked into Summit County Jail.
Additional charges could be filed, authorities said.
