The Cuyahoga Falls Police Department will be ticketing people a little differently this holiday season, according to the city’s website.
Instead of handing out tickets to drivers who commit minor traffic violations, the Cuyahoga Falls police will issue a “toy waiver.” This waiver instructs the violator to donate a new toy to the Toys for Tots program.
The program began Monday. Drivers who receive toy waivers should drop off the new, unwrapped toy at the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department, located at 2310 Second St., between Dec. 2 and Dec. 15.
