CANTON: The Stark County Sheriff’s Office Thursday said it will boost traffic enforcement throughout the month of June, targeting drunk drivers and people driving without wearing seat belts.

Deputies will spend an extra 172 hours on the roads looking for these drivers thanks to grants from the Ohio Department of Public Safety’s traffic division, the sheriff’s office said in a release.

The release did not specify where and when the stepped up enforcement in Stark County would happen, but June 1 arrives Friday.
