The Environmental Awareness Committee of the City of Hudson welcomes Paul Westlake, Jr. and Monica Green at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the town hall. The public is welcome.
The two are from Westlake Reed Leskosky, an architectural firm based in Cleveland, and will discuss their firm's efforts in green design and LEED building.
They will address their integrated design approach, which results in buildings with a reduced operating footprint. Their goal is to design healthy, long-lasting interior environments.
Westlake is a managing principal at WRL. Green is a LEED accredited professor with 30 years of experience in new construction and renovation projects.
Abram Garfield, the youngest son James Garfield, the No. 20 president of the United States, founded the WRL firm in 1905.
