The Green Lacrosse Club invites Youth and Middle School lacrosse players to attend their Winter Skills clinic from January through February 2014.

Pre-season training is an important part of preparation for the regular season starting in the spring, and many players begin the regular season out of shape and ill-prepared. The Winter Skills clinic aims to get players ready for the season by building up their confidence and power on the field.

The eight-week course will incorporate rigorous workouts and stick drills in order to increase endurance and improve consistency of stick handling. Groups will be comprised of 10-15 students in order to maximize personal attention.

Sessions will be coached by Green Lacrosse Club staff, as well as Youth and Middle School coaches. Four current Green High School lacrosse players will be present at each session. There will also be several former NCAA players in attendance as guest coaches.

Parents are encouraged to stay for the sessions to observe and ask questions.

All sessions will be held at the SportsDome, 5617 Portage St. NW, North Canton, OH. The times of the sessions are Monday evenings 5-6 p.m. The dates are:

January: 6th, 14th, 20th, 27th

February: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th

The eight-week session costs $120.00.
