GREEN: The Board of Education has approved job descriptions for two supervisory positions - one each at the district's north and south campuses.

The positions have not been posted internally yet nor have salaries been determined.

Approving the job description had to be done first, with the hirings expected at the next board meeting at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 24, in the Central Administration Building's council chambers at 1755 Town Park Blvd.

Superintendent Michael Nutter said the North Campus will consist of facilities at the high school and middle school as well as the stadium and practice field.

The South Campus will consist of the Greenwood Early Learning Center, Green Primary, the Intermediate School and the former Kleckner Elementary building, which is vacant but not torn down.

The board abolished the positions of maintenance and grounds supervisor and custodial supervisor. The positions weren't currently filled, Nutter said.

He told the board abolishing the positions would save money.
