HUDSON: City council will decide whether to move forward with three contracts at its meeting on Wednesday. All meetings begin at 7:30 at the Town Hall.

Two contracts are with Perrin Asphalt, an Akron company.

The first agreement is for the 2013 concrete replacement program, in the amount of $289,434.61. The second contract will cover the Norton Road sight distance improvement program, and totals $126,940.

Council will also consider a contract with Baumann Enterprises of Cleveland, for hazardous material removal and demolition of the former Youth Development Center on Hines Hill Road. The bid price for the contract was just more than $1.4 million, and includes a 10 percent contingency.

In other business, council will have readings on proposed legislation for revision of the water and sewer rates. A public hearing in the matter will be set for May 15.
