Hudson Community First honored 10 Hudson residents last Wednesday at a luncheon at the County Club, reported the Hudson Hub Times.

Community members nominate the recipients for the Take a Second, Make a Difference award that is given to people who “develop the opportunities, skills, relationships and values to help young people become healthy, caring and responsible.”

This year’s award-winners included Sarah Adams, Wanda Boesch, Noah Durkee, Tim Ellison, Megan Gaffney, Greg Getzinger, Mark Guidagni, Louise Knox, Anthony Rightnour and Clark Rumiser.

Inspired by the theme of young people, second-graders at Ellsworth Hill Elementary crafted the placemats that were given to guests at the luncheon.
