Opiates are a major concern throughout Ohio, and the nation.


Hudson Mock Trial, a premiere trial advocacy team comprised of Hudson High School students, will perform a case involving heroin found in a vehicle with syringes, spoons and other drug instruments.


Sarah Hulburt, esq. will lead Hudson Mock Trial as they take on this case. The team is asking for volunteer jurors.


Jury selection will begin at 9 a.m on June 8, in Judge Alison McCarty's court, located on the 3rd floor of the Summit County Court of Common Pleas, 209 S. High Street in Akron. 


The case will begin immediately following jury selection and is expected to be a half day event. Judge Alison McCarty will preside. 


Hudson Mock Trial is looking for at least 15 volunteer jurors.
