HUDSON: The Hudson Police Department and Summit County Public Health are sponsoring the Prescription Take-Back program on Saturday.

The department will provide receptacles at the Hudson Police Station, 36 South Oviatt Street, for residents to discard unwanted prescription drugs or unused medicines.

When disposing of medicine residents are asked to keep it in the original containers, mark out personal information such as name and address, secure medicine in a Ziploc bag and drop it in the drug disposal box.

This program only accepts pills, capsules or syrups. For syringe disposal, call 330-926-5600.
