KENT: James L. Blank has been reappointed interim dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Kent State University.
Blank has been serving as interim dean since November and his appointment will continue until June 2015.
He makes $220,300 a year.
Blank is a neuroscientist who has served as a professor and chair of the biological sciences department.
KSU Provost Todd Diacon said he expects to start a search for a permanent dean for the college in fall 2014.
