STERLING, OHIO: A man has been charged with playing a role in the overdose death of a woman whose baby was found dead in a Wayne County bathtub last fall.

Authorities say 52-year-old Larry Davenport has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and corrupting another with drugs.

Investigators say Davenport supplied the heroin that caused 23-year-old Kimberly Karosy to overdose.

She died just hours after giving birth.

Investigators say Davenport told them the baby was stillborn, and he put its body in a box at a home in Sterling, about 20 miles west of Akron.

Davenport was being held in jail after being arrested Wednesday. No court records were available indicating whether he has an attorney. A telephone number for him was no longer working.
