A 27-year-old New Franklin man was arrested of a charge of pandering obscenity involving a minor Thursday after police said they found a flash drive that belonged to him and contained images of possible child pornography.

Christopher Hill was booked into the Summit County Jail and might face additional charges, according to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.

A representative from Brown Mackey College called Akron police after finding a flash drive left in a computer at the college. Police viewed contents of the flash drive in an attempt to locate its owner and found the potentially offensive images.

When police determined the owner of the flash drive lived outside the city, officers contacted the sheriff’s office.
