CLEVELAND: The Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency has issued an air quality advisory for ground-level ozone for Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit counties.

The advisory will be effective through Tuesday. The group warned that children, the elderly and those with breathing difficulties should monitor outdoor activity.

NOACA, in partnership with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, Cleveland Division of Air Quality, Akron Regional Air Quality Management District, Akron Metropolitan Area Transportation Study, Lake County General Health District, and Ohio University bases its advisories on predicted weather patterns.
