CINCINNATI: A dying manís videotaped eye blinks, which prosecutors say identified his killer, will be a major part of the testimony at the suspectís trial beginning in southwest Ohio.

Thirty-four-year-old Ricardo Woods goes on trial Tuesday on charges of murdering David Chandler last year in Cincinnati. Police interviewed Chandler while he was paralyzed after being shot in the head and neck as he sat in his car. Prosecutors say Chandler identified Woodsís photo through a series of eye blinks.

Chandler died about two weeks later.

The judge has ruled that jurors will be allowed to see the video of Chandlerís blinking eyes. Woods attorney argued that the blinks werenít conclusive and should not be allowed in evidence.

Authorities say Chandler and Woods knew each other through drug deals.
