BATH TWP.: After being withdrawn from last month’s agenda for further examination, the change orders for this season’s paving and rehabilitation project were approved without further discussion Sept.18 by the Revere Board of Education.
The issue regarding the contract approval revolved around change orders to the original contract, which brought the total project contract amount to just more than $1 million.
Those change orders, according to officials with the GPD Group who addressed the board at last month’s meeting, resulted in unforeseen soil issues during the parking lot paving work.
The board met in work sessions between the two regular meetings and resolved the confusion about the change orders.
