Hearts For Music Inc., P.O. Box 515, 4372 W. Prospect St., Mantua, OH 44255, is a nonprofit orchestra program designed to give children and young adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities such as autism or Down syndrome the opportunity to fulfill their dreams of being a performing musician.

Orchestra members perform classical and popular works through the combination of keyboards, iPads and acoustic instruments. The organization is seeking money donations for this special needs orchestra. Also needed are working iPads — third generation and up, gently used keyboards (61 keys in length), xylophones and triangles.

Musical instruments, iPads and other music gear can be dropped off at Hilltop Christian Church (same address) during office hours, or call 330-298-5549 to have a Hearts For Music staffer pick it up in person.

CORE Furniture Bank, P.O. Box 1192, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223, provides used furniture and beds to people in need. CORE stands for Community Outreach Resources Exchange.

It is seeking volunteers to do the following:

• Work at home doing computer input for scheduling pickup of furniture donations.

• Serve as escorts at the warehouse on Saturday mornings once or twice a month.

• Drive CORE’s trucks for a half-day on Wednesdays to pick up furniture donations.

Info Line, 703 S. Main St. (Suite 211), Akron, OH 44311, is a local nonprofit organization that connects people in need in Summit County with available services. It primarily serves low-income families, homeless individuals and older adults.

The organization needs diapers of any size for formerly homeless babies in Info Line’s housing program. It is also seeking bus passes and gas station gift cards to help low-income and homeless individuals travel to interviews and their first week of work. Monetary donations of any amount are needed to support its various programs,

Info Line also seeks volunteers who can make a commitment of two to four hours per week to schedule food pantry appointments or help at the receptionist desk. Also welcomed are student interns or professionals who can contribute a certain skill such as graphic design, video production, writing or data analysis.

Summa Health, 525 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44304, is seeking groups and individuals to sew heart pillows for cardiac patients. The patients receive heart pillows to provide comfort after heart surgery.
