Kasich backers eye field
When asked to describe the other presidential candidates, Kasich backers swung back at the Trump supporters who took aim at Ohio’s governor. Democrats got it even worse.
•?Billionaire Donald Trump: Boastful, protectionist, entertaining, Huuuuuuuge, finger on the pulse, advocate, pandering, opportunist, confident, spontaneous, Jeb Bush-attacker, Tweet fighter, presidential wannabe since he was a Democrat.
•?Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas: Constitutionalist, polished, eloquent speaker, shady, obstructionist, holds up his party, Supreme Court clerk, ambitious, superficial, fake-it-till-you-make-it, trying to ignore him, preachy, dirty campaigner.
•?Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida: Plastic, robotic, eviscerated by Chris Christie, first-term senator, not ready to write him off, could work deal with Kasich, great orator, visionary, Reagan-esque, not time-tested, vibrant, immigrants’ son, more lovable than Cruz.
•?Retired brain surgeon Ben Carson: Astute, soft-spoken, intelligent, the most religious, disciplined, quiet leader, loyal, humility, likable but not ready, messenger, inspirer, wish he’d gotten more traction
•?Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton: Entitled, liar, shady, scandalous, Whitewater, Benghazi, corruption, disingenuous, EB-5 [immigrant investor] visas, coughs when talks, conniving, “to be perfectly clear, this has nothing to do with her gender.”
•?Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont: Yuge, socialist, millionaire (he’s estimated to be worth half that), cantankerous, impractical, Eugene Debs Jr., Larry David, freeloader, too liberal for Chuck Schumer.
