BATH TWP.: The Revere school board will meet in a special meeting/work session at 4:30 p.m. today in the Board Room at the Revere Administration Building at 3495 Everett Road.

The agenda lists the potential sale of district property located at the northeast corner of North Hametown and Everett roads.

Last August, the board approved a listing agreement for the 57 acres with Stouffer Realty.

The listing price at that time was $1.25 million.

The property is part of the original Firestone estate purchased by the district in September 1998 from Merryweather Real Estate.

The site, as well as the additional acreage that is now Firestone Trace and the Bath Baseball Park, had been purchased from John Chlebina the previous year.

Almost four years ago, the district offered the acreage for sale at auction, but no buyer came forward.

The agenda for the meeting today also lists executive session for consideration of the sale of property and for employment/compensation of a public employee.
