The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of two suspects involved in two recent homicides in Akron.

Dontay Antonio Taylor, 22, with a last known address on Eva Avenue, is wanted for the murder and felonious assault that occurred at the Embassy Lounge, 2200 Romig Road, about 11:30 p.m. July 23.

Taylor was refused entry into the lounge, then he fired several shots through the windows of the nightclub, killing Rahsaan M. Price, 38, and injuring Lamar R. Fitzgerald, 28, and Deanna L. May, 25.

Taylor is described as a black male, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 145 pounds.

A reward also has been offered for information on Lavaile Dwight Thomas Jr., 25, of Nome Avenue, who is wanted for the murder and felonious assault that occurred outside 604 East Ave. about 10:30 p.m. Nov. 19.

Thomas fired shots into a car, killing Deshawn D. Smith, 18, and injuring Courtney B. Rice, 21. An alleged accomplice in the crime, Dierre Laneal Robinson, 23, of Hillwood Avenue, turned himself in to detectives Monday.

Thomas is described as a black male, 5 foot 2 inches tall and weighing 128 pounds.

According to a news release from the Akron Police Department, the fugitives should be considered dangerous individuals and should not be approached by the general public. Tipsters may remain anonymous and cash rewards are available for information leading to the arrest of any of these fugitives.
