GREEN: Summit County sheriff’s deputies reported seizures of three weapons and ammunition Jan. 22 and 23 during TSA searches before passengers boarded planes at Akron-Canton Airport.

A deputy reported Jan. 22 that a Massillon man had a pair of brass knuckles attached to a key chain as he was being checked through the screening area. The brass knuckles were detached and kept while the passenger was permitted to continue his trip.

The same day, a Doylestown man’s carry-on luggage produced four white, metal-throwing stars, which were removed and kept by TSA authorities.

The following day, a Solon man was found to have six rounds of ammunition in his carry-on luggage. They were confiscated, tagged and donated for agent training.
