Two people were arrested on charges of making methamphetamine inside a South Arlington Road motel in Springfield Township, police said.

John Kim, 36, and Carrie Kim, 35, both of Akron, were being held in the Summit County Jail on charges of manufacturing drugs and child endangering charges. The married couple were arrested Wednesday inside a Red Roof Inn room after police received an anonymous tip. A teenage boy was with them at the time of the arrest.

Police Sgt. Eric East said the case marks the sixth meth lab raided this month in Springfield and Lakemore. Eight people were arrested in connection with the raids.
