Person(s) — other than parent(s) — who were biggest influence on you and why: Malala Yousafzai. Despite having an “eventful” childhood filled with blood, war and violence, Malala stood up to fight for her right to an education. Her saying, “One child, one teacher, one book, one person can change the world,” inspired me to start my own nonprofit, Books for Change Orissa, in India to help literacy rates and global education.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: I’m no psychic but hopefully somewhere on the East Coast and extremely successful.

“If I were president, I would ...” celebrate the conglomeration of values and principles in this country and advocate for equality.

Favorite high school memory: Being attacked by a 500-pound wild moose on a mountain in Salt Lake City during the nationals speech and debate tournament was a highlight of high school. But in general, every weekend with my speech and debate teammates at tournaments is worth cherishing.
