STOW: A Stow businessman accused of tax fraud pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court, authorities said.
Michael R. Tucker pleaded guilty to failing to pay employee withholding taxes and filing a false 2007 personal tax return.
Prosecutors contend Tucker was the majority partner and general manager of Computology LLC from 2004 to 2008. Prosecutors said that from December 2005 through March 2008, Tucker failed to pay taxes totaling $263,188 that had been withheld from employee paychecks.
Tucker is scheduled to be sentenced June 7 in U.S. District Court.
