CUYAHOGA FALLS: Stow Mayor Sara Kline is one of nearly 50 people who have applied to run the Cuyahoga Falls parks and recreation department, MyTownNEO.com reports.

“At this point, I’m simply considering what looks like a great opportunity and there’s nothing more to it than that,” she told the website. “It’s a wonderful city, a great opportunity. I’m just exploring the possibility.”

Kline has been mayor since 2012. She cannot run for re-election due to term limits.

Cuyahoga Falls has been looking for a new parks leader since former superintendent Ed Stewart announced in December that he was retiring. Stewart announced his retirement days after his assistant superintendent resigned following controversy over her position.
