STOW: Need to borrow a concert-size ukulele?

Or how about a radon detector?

Or perhaps an auto diagnostic code reader?

The Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library, 3512 Darrow Road, has you covered. The library on Friday launched its new “Eclectic Collection” — nontraditional items such as board games, guitars, a ukulele, steel drum, wireless mini projector and record player.

“The library is growing and transforming and this is just another part of our evolution,” library spokeswoman Ann Malthaner said in a prepared statement. “In a sharing economy, our patrons can borrow items they only need to use once, or that they want to try before they buy. Would you like to try a guitar or ukulele before you invest in one? Check one out for two weeks.”
