A 27-year-old Wadsworth woman and a 31-year-old Windham man were charged Sept. 20 with receiving stolen property. During a traffic stop on state Route 8, they were found in possession of a stolen wallet and stolen credit card.
Breaking and entering
Copper pipe was stolen from a vacant home in the 1800 block of Wetmore Street.
A Baird Road man reported Sept. 20 that between Sept. 1 and 3, someone broke into his home and took a $1,600 television he was renting from Rent-A-Center.
A 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle was taken from an attached garage in the 2600 block of Graham Road on Sept. 21.
Someone broke into a home in the 4400 block of Newcomer Road between Sept. 18 and 20. Nothing appeared to be missing.
Misuse of a credit card
A 29-year-old man reported Sept. 20 that someone took his wallet from his vehicle parked in the 4800 block of Bratton Court. A credit card inside the wallet was used at an Akron business to purchase prepaid credit cards and phone cards.
A 30-year-old Euclid woman reported Sept. 18 that she was sexually assaulted at a Cox Drive home in 1993 and 1994, when she and the suspect were juveniles.
Mail containing checks was stolen from First Christian Church, 3493 Darrow Road. The mail was then thrown in a fire pit.
Theft by deception
A 65-year-old Graham Road man reported Sept. 23 that he was deceived by a caller who purported to be with an Internet security company. The man lost an undisclosed amount of money.
