Stow-Munroe Falls Board of Education member Rod Armstrong is suing the board and district CFO/Treasurer Catherine Bulgrin, according to Stow Sentry.

Armstrong is alleging that the board broke state laws concerning public and private meetings. Court records state Warner Mendenhall, Armstrong’s lawyer filed the complaint in the Summit County Court of Common Pleas on Monday.

The complaint includes claims of “improper convening of executive sessions, failure to record minutes of public meetings, violation of free speech and defamation,” the Stow Sentry article states.
