GREEN: A Summit County sheriff’s deputy razed a marijuana-growing operation behind a Walnut Street residence after learning of the plants through an anonymous tip.

The deputy said Sept. 17 that he was advised to check on the report that people living at the location were growing the pot in the yard.

Upon arrival, the deputy found the evidence and was told by his supervisor to pull the plants and tag them into evidence.

Deputies were continuing the investigation.
