Major highways abruptly closed: None.

AKRON:

?Interstate 77 northbound ramp to I-277 westbound: The ramp is now open.

?Wheeler Street, between Allyn Street and Kling Street: Closed to through traffic until Friday for construction of a utility shaft. A detour is posted.

?Voris Street railroad crossing, just east of South Broadway: Closed for reconstruction until Friday. A detour is posted.

?Evans Avenue, between Home Avenue and Brittain Road: Closed adjacent to the Camp Brook Storage Basin project for facility work until about Wednesday. Local traffic will be provided to the closing from Brittain Road or Home Avenue. A detour will be posted.

?Hickory Street, between North Street and Memorial Parkway: Closed until late 2018 to prepare for work on the Ohio Canal Interceptor Tunnel. It includes the temporary relocation of the Towpath Trail to Hickory Street from Maple Street to near Memorial Parkway.

?North Connector Street, between Grant Street at the I-76 off ramp and Wolf Ledges Parkway: Closed until late January for installation of a utility shaft, conduits and cable. Detour via Grant Street, Thornton Street and Wolf Ledges.

?Brown Street and East Wilbeth Road intersection: Westbound Wilbeth Road from Brown Street will remain closed until further notice.

?East Wilbeth Road, between Dallas Avenue and Brown Street: Lane restrictions until Dec. 11 for completion of sidewalks, new traffic signals and landscaping.

?East Market Street, between North High Street and Maiden Lane Alley: Emergency reconstruction of an Ohio Edison conduit duct bank has been completed. Work will conclude this week with grinding and resurfacing of the westbound curb lane.

?Brown Street, at the intersection of South Street: Partially closed through early December for road reconstruction. A detour is posted.

?Johnston Street, at the intersection of Inman Street: Closed through early December for road reconstruction. A detour is posted.

?Spicer Street, between Thornton Street and Johnston Street: Permanently closed for road relocation. Detour is Thornton to Grant Street to Morgan Avenue.

?East North Street bridge, over the Little Cuyahoga River: Closed until further notice because of erosion. Detour route is Dan Street to Evans Avenue to Home Avenue.

?East Waterloo Road at the intersection of South Arlington Street: Lane restrictions until Dec. 18 for reconstruction of the intersection and signals. The road has been channelized to allow traffic flow through the area. Restrictions will change periodically.

?East Waterloo Road, across from Chaffin Road: Lane restrictions for sanitary sewer reconstruction until Monday. The road will be channelized and traffic flow restricted into the eastbound lanes for travel in both directions.

?Massillon Road, between Seiberling Way and Triplett Boulevard: Temporarily reopened for the winter season. Work will continue on walks and drive aprons as weather permits.

?Englewood Avenue, between Seiberling Street and General Street: Closed for underground work until the end of December. Traffic is diverted to East Market Street.

?Seiberling Street, between Englewood Avenue and Innovation Way: Closed until the end of December for the remainder of the Englewood Avenue project. Access to local businesses will be maintained. A detour will be posted.

Elsewhere in Summit County:

?State Route 18 (West Market Street) in Fairlawn: Starting Monday, the I-77 northbound to Route 18 eastbound exit ramp will be split by a newly created spur ramp to access Springside Drive north. The existing ramp will remain open to access Springside Drive south and Route 18 eastbound. Also, Route 18 between I-77 and Hametown Road has lane restrictions for road construction until further notice.

?State Route 91, between Post Road and Glenwood Drive in Twinsburg: Daily lane restrictions for installation of temporary pavement until further notice.

?I-271 in Richfield and Richfield Township: I-271 from just south of Broadview Road to just south of state Route 303 has daily lane restrictions for road construction until further notice.

?Shepard Road, south of state Route 82 in Macedonia: Closed through mid-December for pavement widening. A detour is posted.

?State Route 82, between Alexandria Drive and Longwood Park in Macedonia: There will be lane restrictions for road widening until further notice.

MEDINA COUNTY:

?County Road 46 (Seville Road), just west of Leroy Road in Westfield Township: Closed for a bridge replacement. A detour is posted. It is expected to reopen Dec. 18.

PORTAGE COUNTY:

?State routes 14 and 59 in Ravenna Township: Route 59 westbound between state Route 5 and Route 14 will be closed through early April for road reconstruction. Detour will be Route 5 to Route 14. Also, Route 59 eastbound between Bryn Mawr Street and Route 14 will be restricted to one lane through April and left turns will not be permitted. Newton Falls Road is permanently closed between Woodbine Road and state Route 14. Traffic will be rerouted to Route 59 using the newly constructed Peck Road connector.

STARK COUNTY:

?U.S. 30 in Canton and Osnaburg townships and East Canton: Until further notice, U.S. 30 between Trump Avenue and the eastern East Canton limits will have lane restrictions for catch basin and drainage repairs.

?State Route 800, between 34th Street and 45th Street in Canton Township: Reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction for road widening until further notice.

WAYNE COUNTY:

No current projects to report.

Elsewhere in Northeast Ohio:

?I-77 bridge deck replacement over Cuyahoga River Valley, Independence and Cuyahoga Heights in Cuyahoga County: Occasional lane closings during off-peak hours are anticipated as only minor work remains on the project.
