Constuction continues on Hills and Dales between Whipple and Woodlawn Avenue. Storm sewers there are over 50 years old and need to be replaced. The trustees would like to approve $150,000 to continue this project, which is known as The Fulton Relieve Ditch. The funds will not be needed until the end of 2013.

The Jackson Township Safety Center will host a Drug Take Back Program on Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This program is mostly for prescription drugs which continues to be a problem in the township as well as Stark County. The public is invited to attend.

The next board meeting will be Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 5 p.m.
