A pair of men armed with guns robbed two people in their North Canton home on Friday morning, police reported.

The incident occurred at about 2:20 a.m. A man called police to say he was running from the intruders, who entered his home and demanded money.

One of the occupants of the home, in the 900 block of East Maple Street, gave a robber his rent money and the suspects fled. Police recovered a gun from the snow nearby and determined it was not stolen.

Neither of the robbers have been arrested or identified, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 330-499-5911 or the tip line at 330-966-3633.

The robbers are described as black men in their early 20s, standing between 5-foot-9 and 6-foot-1. Both wore black clothing and gloves. Neither man wore a mask.
