The Wadsworth Police Department will hold an auction of unclaimed and unused property at 11 a.m. on Oct. 6 at City Hall, located at 120 Maple St.
 
More than 35 bicycles will be up for auction. Lt. Robert Wyrick said the bicycles are of all sizes.
 
Other used and new items expected to be on the block include Pampered Chef items, new toys, computer accessories and parts, new clothing, a new range hood, a color printer/fax, a Yudu screen-printing system, videogames and DVDs.
 
Wyrick said registration and viewing of the offerings will begin at 10:30 a.m. and the auction will begin at 11 a.m. Payment can be by check or cash, but no credit cards will be accepted.
 
Persons who believe they may have a claim to any of the items up for auction should call Sgt. Melissa Blubaugh at 330-334-1511 prior to the auction.
 
Wyrick said the auction will be held in city council chambers at City Hall and the auction will be held "rain or shine."
