In addition to no longer wanting customers to bag items to be recycled, here are other changes (or reminders) for Akron residents who use the curbside recycling service:

?Milk, juice, broth, soup and other food and beverage cartons can be recycled. Rinse out and flatten cartons when possible.

?Plastics No. 1 through No. 7 can be recycled. Styrofoam, however, should not be included with recyclables.

Paper and cardboard can be recycled. Do not tie or bundle.

Aluminum and metal cans, plus glass bottles and jars, are recycled. Labels can remain on those containers.

Bottle caps and lids should not be included with recyclables. Throw those away.

Aluminum foil is no longer a material that is recycled.

No food wastes.

?No leaves, grass clippings or brush.

?No light bulbs.

?No pizza boxes.

?No plastic grocery bags.

?No aerosol cans.
