Buckeye Lake Brewery is looking to expand.

"We are at capacity," founder Rich Hennosy says. "We are selling every drop as fast as we can make it."

He has proposed buying a vacant beer drive-thru located next to the brewery and owned by the village of Buckeye Lake to add a new 5,000- to 6,000-square-foot building for production. The brewery also plans to upgrade to a 15-barrel brewhouse and add more fermenters, with Hennosy saying he's ready to invest about $700,000 in the project.

Buckeye Lake -- known for brands such as Buckeye Lake Blonde, Shovelhead 2X IPA and Legend Valley IPA -- released an artist's rendering of the new brewery on social media.

If the village won't sell the property, Hennosy said he will begin looking elsewhere in the village for a new site.
