Christian Moerlein Brewing Co. and FC Cincinnati are expanding their partnership.

The Cincinnati brewery and soccer team announced today (April 3) that Moerlein Original Lager will be branded in FCC 16-ounce cans. The brewery also produces the Moerlein FC Cincinnati Blood Orange IPA.

"FC Cincinnati Blood Orange IPA has been a fan favorite since its launch in 2016," FCC President and general manager Jeff Berding said in a prepared statement. "We appreciate our partnership with Christian Moerlein Brewing Co., one of the leaders of the craft brewing movement, and are looking forward to introducing the newly branded Moerlein Original Lager to FCC fans."

Christian Moerlein will provide Original Lager and FC Cincinnati Blood Orange IPA 16-ounce cans to FCC Pub Partners and at participating retailers around Nippert Stadium as part of a “March to the Opening Match” promotion. Season schedules and other prizes will be given out to fans from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday (April 7) before the first home match.

FCC and Christian Moerlein also announced that the brewery will sponsor the halftime "Do You Bleed Blood Orange Trivia Contest."
