Great Lakes Brewing Co. will release its Barrel Aged Christmas Ale in 22-ounce bottles starting Nov. 22 exclusively at its brewery gift shop.

Every bottle has been tagged, numbered and signed.

The beer was aged for seven months in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels. It's 7.5 percent alcohol by volume.

"Holiday spices and sweet honey are wrapped up with notes of wood and vanilla, adding depth that’ll keep you a-wassailin’ all season long," the Cleveland brewery said in a news release. "Do not open until Christmas? Well, maybe, but this brew will bring good tidings fresh from the bottle or after some time in the cellar."

The bottles are $17.95 and there is a six-bottle limit per customer. The gift shop opens at 10 a.m.

Meanwhile, the draft version will be available at the brewpub. The draft also will be released to select markets beginning Nov. 27.
