Great Lakes Brewing Co. is expanding its distribution footprint in Indiana.

The Cleveland brewery -- the largest Ohio-based craft brewer -- has hooked up with Cavalier Distributing to expand throughout the Hoosier State starting Aug. 20. Great Lakes has been available in the South Bend area for more than a decade.

"This fits our growth strategy of deepening our market presence within the Great Lakes region," regional sales manager Kevin Hack said in a prepared statement.

The news follows the brewery's announcement that it is expanding distribution in New York state, as well.

The brewery said Indiana customers can expect to find its year-round beers in package and draft: Dortmunder Gold Lager, Eliot Ness Amber Lager, Turntable Pils, Holy Moses White Ale, Burning River Pale Ale, Commodore Perry IPA and Edmund Fitzgerald Porter. The seasonal portfolio also will debut in Indiana, including Oktoberfest and Nosferatu Imperial Red Ale.
